About the role

 

This position requires a diligent individual who could multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for reviewing stocks that are blocked from sales due to quality issues and other operational activities and take appropriate correction actions.

 

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

•Continuously monitor blocked stock levels at each Sku level and ensure every line item has a progress status tracker.
•Ensure every blocked stock in the system has an associated case id and the same is tagged physically on the product in the warehouse.
•Close follow-up with suppliers with regards to cases that need to be claimed (Full or partial replacement products) and ensure closure on cases within agreed timelines.
•Liaise with the purchasing team to ensure the agreed replacements are tracked in terms of shipment schedule and update respective team to ensure closure.
•Prioritise closure of blocked stock cases based on parameters such as ageing, stock value, stock quantity and supplier.
•Create a monthly report on the blocked stock and update key stakeholders with closure timelines.
•Do continuous monitoring of physical locations where these blocked stocks are allocated and conduct ad hoc cycle counts for stock accuracy and case id accuracy.
•For temporary block stock items that are more than 7 days old, create alerts and send them to respective internal stakeholders for quicker closure.
•Work closely with the QA and QC team to understand the reasons for such block stock occurrences and work towards minimising block stock levels by providing preventive measures. Ensure the set processes are followed.
•Deliver other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager / Department Head.
•Execute your duties in accordance with Sanipex Group’s Environment & Quality Policies.

About You

 

•Knowledge of ERP modules and MS office specifically, Excel.
•Experience in handling SKUs, preferably from bathroom / furniture industry.
•The preferred skilled candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
•Excellent Planning and organising skills.
•Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•Willingness to work on a flexible schedule.
•Must be self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative and highly delivery focused.
•Ability to work to deadlines and perform accurately in pressure situations.
•Additional preferences include valid UAE driving license, experience in working on Microsoft AX.
